habit and habitat--Muhlenbergia reverchonii is a low perennial bunchgrass that is commonly found on relatively undisturbed limestone slopes. Most of what you see here is M. reverchonii--the only other grass that is easily recognizable in this picture is little bluestem, Schizachyrium scoparium. | |
